Create a dialogue. You ask your partner (a waiter in a restaurant) the total cost of your order. He/she tells you the price and you pay with an approximate amount of cash. He/she gives you the wrong amount of change, either more or less than what should be given. Politely explain to him/her how the amount of change is wrong.
Be sure to include the kinship term, each person's name, age, profession. Use sentence patterns from Lesson 2. Don't forget to use 口 as the measure word for family. I know you got better each time you practiced your skit. Sometimes practicing over a few days gives it time to sink in. What did you do well? What can you still work on?
Congratulations! You have made it through Exam 1 and Communication Task 1. Please watch the sample of your oral communication and write one specific thing you did right and one specific thing you would like to keep working on. For example, "I remembered all of my vocabulary well. I would like to work on not feeling so nervous before my orals."
